Mystery Bags - the internal struggle

I have seen many vendors and artists with mystery bags and mystery boxes available. These have intrigued me. They seem very popular, but I couldn't imagine how I could offer them with what I had in my booth. I have seen how they are pretty popular, though. My booth has grown so much lately, though, that I think I am in a place where I could actually offer some.

I have been going over and over and over and over it in my mind, trying to figure out how I could do it, what I could include in the bags, what would the price point of purchase be vs the value of what I put into them, etc. Then, there's the question of Do I use paper bags? What about smaller boxes? What would be good packaging to be able to hold everything, but not allow the contents to be seen/guessed? I have even talked over everything with my husband, as well. When it comes to the crafty and business side of things, he is not involved at all. He lets me run my business as I see fit (since it's mine, ya know?). He does help out every great once in a while, and I throw ideas off of him, and talk things through. It's nice to get an outside opinion and perspective, too.

I have finally gotten to a point where I believe I am going to take the plunge, and I couldn't be more excited. It's always exciting to offer new things at events, and I can't wait for this one! I have found bags that I like, that are not too small to hold everything, but not too big that they appear half empty.

I have settled on a $10 price point, but plan to have about $20-$25+ worth of items in the bag. I haven't yet decided if I will offer them on the website, as well. I probably will eventually, but may not have them listed right away.

What do you think? Are you excited about having the option of mystery bags from the shop? What kind of items would you like to see in the bags? I would LOVE to get some feedback!
